The world is becoming more and more connected, and more information is up to date. Developing countries are starting to catch up with the rest of the world and connecting online. Access to information is a critical requirement of policy development. “The openness of the resource not only ensures wide usage but also stimulates innovation by allowing anyone to develop new value-added services that make use of these resources.’’ Open access provides more accessibility (at no cost) and more relevance to the discussion which contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals.
